Building Green - The Building Green website is an industry leader in green building product reviews news and case studies. It is also home to Environmental Building News and Green Spec.  

Build It Green - Build It Green (BIG)'s mission is to provide healthy, energy and resource efficient homes in California.  BIG provides information on certified contractors, rebates, building materials and works to establish credible and accessible green building policies that promote private sector innovation, connect green product suppliers with consumers, and provide consistent guidelines statewide.

ENERGY STAR - ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy created to save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. 

Environmental Building News - Ebuild is the largest free online directory of building materials, construction tools and building products for homebuilders and remodelers, offering the broadest range of building product information available online.  Ebuild combines a number of databases into a powerful information tool featuring contact and product information for more than 5,500 construction products.

Green Building Certification Institute -  GBCI is a third party organization that provides independent oversight of professional credentialling and project certification programs related to green building standards as well as offering marketplace validation of building certificates. 

LEED Rating System - LEED is a widely recognized and respected environmental building certification. LEED encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.

Oikos Green Building Source - Oikos, meaning “house” in Greek, is an organization devoted to promoting energy efficient building, sustainable design, and environmentally sound construction practices.  Through its Product Directory – a database of energy-saving and environmentally-responsible building materials – it promotes other like-minded companies and organizations offering a wide range of products to builders featuring both economic and ecological benefits.   

Step Up 2 Green - Step Up 2 Green provides homeowners the information, guidance and incentive to implement upgrades to home and property that will save energy and water while enhancing indoor air quality.

Sustainable Industries - Sustainable Industries is an independent media company producing this web site, an award-winning bimonthlymagazineindustry newslettersWebinar series, and the Sustainable Industries Economic Forums

US Green Building Council's Green Home Guide - The USGBC's Green Home Guide is a resource for green building products, contractors and tips on green building.  It also includes information on the LEED for Homes Certification Program and other information helpful to those interested in learning more about what is available in green building.
