Project Philosophy | Architectural Plans | Photos of Construction Underway Project Philosophy We have committed to advancing our knowledge, experience, and innovative sustainable practices by undertaking our pilot project: a 12 home self-sustained community in Playa Potrero, Costa Rica. Our prototype home (P1085) is currently under production and will combine Sustainable Building design, Natural Ventilation and Light, Photovoltaic Roofs, Geothermal Cooling and Hot Water, Wind Energy, Energy Storage and Net Metering, Structural Insulated Concrete Panels, Waste Water re-use, Rain Water Storage, and Internet-based Home Monitoring System.The first home of our innovator series will be purposely over designed, engineered, and over built to provide us with data needed in order to refine natural energy solutions and sustainable building methods. We are committed to advancing, improving, and reducing material use, cost, and waste while increasing overall energy efficiency and sustainability throughout the test of time. |
